Warehouse Administrator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Warehouse Administrator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Material assurance – ensures every part is present, locate missing parts;
- Order pick and pack;
- Liaison between Office, Sales, and Warehouse to maintain good communication and relations;
- Update manufacturing report;
- Assist employees with troubleshooting WMS/Voice Collect problems as they arise;
- Perform quality control/assurance checks on completed pallets;
- Assist in evaluating best work practices and plan process improvements for the night team;
- Learn and master Warehouse Management System (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and contribute positively to its continual development;
- Cycle count key parts;
- Keep the night team motivated and running efficiently throughout the entire shift;
- Schedule and organize workload;
- Assist and support inventory control;
- Plan daily picking/work assignments and assign work to team members within WMS according to priority.
Requirements:
- Great problem-solving skills;
- 2-years of people leadership experience;
- Microsoft Office skills, with strong Excel experience;
- Experience using Voice Collect system for order picking;
- Excellent communication skills (email, in person, etc.);
- Must have a resume;
- Ability to multi-task and follow through on multiple tasks;
- 3-years of WMS and ERP experience;
- Proven record of positive change management skills;
- Bi-lingual in English/Spanish or English/Italian is helpful;
- Lean manufacturing and/or TPS experience desired;
- 3-years of warehouse management experience.
