Our company is looking for a Form Carpenter to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Applying coatings, lubricants, form-release agents, adhesives;
  • Refueling heavy equipment;
  • Assist with mechanical fasteners, bolted connections, steel component installations;
  • Assist in rigging operations under supervision of qualified Rigger;
  • Assist with concrete placement, concrete vibration, concrete finishing;
  • Maintaining work area housekeeping and trash removal;
  • Fabrication of simple and complex wooden form systems in accordance with drawings and design specifications;
  • Assist with anchor installation;
  • Erecting scaffolding, ladders for assembling structures above ground levels;
  • Conducting in-field pre-job briefings (Two-minute drills);
  • Studying specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required;
  • Material transport, safety-spotting during vehicle, heavy equipment movement;
  • Shaping or cutting materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.

Requirements:

  • Drug free at all times;
  • High standard of integrity and professionalism;
  • Experience working with equipment such as: boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts;
  • Ability to work without close supervision once directed on task;
  • Build and set forms out of wood, metal, Symon Doka, EFCO, MEVA, etc. as well as hand built forms;
  • Maintains a good relationship with co-workers and works well with others to accomplish a task;
  • Strip forms after concrete is set;
  • Strong working knowledge of job site safety;
  • Commercial experience with form concrete from start to finish on a project;
  • Clean forms and prep for next project;
  • Pass drug test;
  • Driver’s License;
  • 4 years of commercial concrete experience;
  • 4 years of experience in commercial carpentry.
