Machine Operator/General Labor Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Machine Operator/General Labor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Complete all necessary paperwork to start and complete a job run;
- Identify & communicate to management manufacturing defects promptly;
- Be responsible for meeting daily productions quotas;
- Produce parts in accordance with established procedures, guidelines and quality specifications;
- Perform minor machine trouble shooting of production equipment;
- Perform routine machine maintenance such as oiling and cleaning;
- Stacking product;
- Other duties as directed by management;
- Cleaning;
- Feeding machines;
- Taking off lines.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail;
- Visually observe changing manufacturing conditions;
- Background screen and drug test prior to employment;
- Manufacturing experience is preferred;
- Open to overtime if needed;
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- High school diploma or GED required;
- Manufacturing experience;
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time;
- Ablity to read a tape measure/ruler;
- Proven history of long-term work experience;
- CNC Operations a plus;
- Lift 40-50lbs.
