Shift Lead Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Shift Lead to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and reconcile shift payment transactions;
- Motivate staff while working towards one goal;
- Seek to continuously learn new concepts;
- Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment;
- Conducts daily post shift meeting with staff;
- Demonstrates and promotes safety awareness;
- Consistently teaching sales staff on proper service and behavior;
- Assist in resolving or escalating employee issues or concerns;
- Assist with Staff Management and provide backup support to Club Manager as needed;
- Ensures that all food items on menu are prepared and available for service at all times;
- Handle orders and basic prep;
- Work all areas of restaurant;
- Other duties as assigned by General Manager or Assistant Manager;
- Offers friendly service to all guests;
- Ensures company standards on equipment, facility, and grounds are maintained.
Requirements:
- Experience in a leadership role is a definite plus;
- Must love tacos;
- Experience working as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness;
- Solid supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills;
- Strong problem resolution skills;
- Must obtain a California Food Handler’s Card from an accredited organization before start date;
- Available to work at least 20 hours a week;
- ServeSafe certification;
- Available to work full-time with variable shifts;
- Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic;
- Must be available to work some Saturdays;
- Very minimal to no attendance issues;
- 6 or more months Guest Service experience in a restaurant or retail environment;
- Be able to fill in for other staff (attendance and work wise);
- Experience in a leadership role is required.
