Our company is looking for a Full time Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Completes daily paperwork, assignments, and billing reports;
- Assists in contract requirements for programming;
- Ensures progressive program development;
- Performs other duties as required;
- Completes preparation for daily lessons and implementation of specified classes;
- Assists in the implementation of members’ Individual Service Plans;
- Attends required trainings, staff meetings, and other meetings/events as requested;
- Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with Agency and DDD regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- Teacher Certification;
- Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills;
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Three years of progressive and relevant experience;
- Access to a car to use for work purposes;
- valid driver’s license;
- Effective written and oral communication skills required;
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS);
- Highly organized and self-motivated;
- Willing and able to attend required trainings outside of normal work hours.
