Our company is looking for a Associate Director, Strategy to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional development opportunities and on the job training as needed;
  • Mentor Senior Planners, Planners, Ogilvy Associates and interns who are assigned to the ASD’s accounts;
  • Design and implementation of research projects to address client business issues, gain insight into target audiences and testing ad concepts;
  • Development of brand strategies, writing creative briefs, guiding development and presentation of the creative work;
  • Lead brainstorm sessions with cross-functional teams as necessary to ensure we are bringing the best thinking to key initiatives;
  • Develop and lead impactful, integrated and measurable strategies that deepen the customer’s engagement with the brand to drive revenue;
  • Partner with account teams to identify business opportunities for clients and agency;
  • Design and implement research projects to address client business issues, and gain insight into target audiences;
  • Manage / mentor junior team members.

Requirements:

  • Act as strategic lead on digital and social media projects;
  • Work with and mentor junior strategists;
  • Share trend information, with implications;
  • Able to create strong creative briefs that inspire great work;
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and pay attention to detail;
  • Ability to work directly with clients and develop relationships accordingly on behalf of the agency;
  • Provide information and perspective on the work’s effectiveness;
  • Strong organization, presentation skills and attention to detail;
  • Passionate about having measurable impact on client’s business;
  • A proven track record of organic revenue and relationship growth;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field;
  • Solutions-focused with ability to inspire and instigate ideation across disciplines and departments;
  • BA degree; MBA desirable;
  • Strong ability to absorb and synthesize complex information and transform into clear and compelling insights and ideas;
  • Strong desire to mentor and develop junior team members.
