Our company is looking for a Bartender to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Check customer’s identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age;
- Slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for;
- Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement;
- Maintains hand soap and hand towels at hand wash stations;
- Checking identification to ensure guests are of legal drinking age;
- Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco;
- Efficiently craft every drink to perfection;
- Monitoring alcohol intake and prohibiting sale of alcohol to intoxicated guests;
- Should have in depth knowledge of food, wine, beer and liquors;
- Able to prioritize;
- Bartending (Must be at least 21 years of age);
- Serve customers at their tables;
- Place orders for liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies;
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to pair wines & spirits with a constantly evolving menu with attention to classic wine service;
- Relevant training certificate preferred but not necessary;
- Should have in depth knowledge of food, wine, beer and liquors;
- Climbing ladders or step stools;
- Must be at least 21 years of age to Bartend;
- Ability to comply with physical demands as outlined below;
- Past history of excellent cash handling;
- Ability to understand written English to read any caution or safety notices;
- Ability to obtain and purchase required liquor license;
- Relevant training certificate or years of experience;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to left and carry up to 50+ pounds;
- Knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving standard cocktails.
