Busser/Food Runner Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Busser/Food Runner to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure each customer has a positive experience at Cafesano;
- Remove dishes from tables and bus stations;
- Follow checklists and standard operating procedures;
- Deliver food to the correct tables;
- Maintain general cleanliness and upkeep of space.
Requirements:
- Hand cart, blenders, knives, slices, wine keys and other tools listed in training manual;
- Maneuvering the following types of equipment or machinery;
- Bending/stooping/kneeling required – frequently;
- Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently;
- Scheduled shifts determined by business needs;
- Routine standing for duration of shift;
- Must be at least 16 years of age;
- Knowledge of stain removal and chemical cleaning agents used to clean service ware, glasses etc;
- Flexible availability to work a variety of shifts;
- Able to Stand for Long Periods of time;
- Knowledge of the use of equipment to clean service ware, glasses, pots, pans, etc;
- Able to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push, and/or pull equipment.
