Our company is looking for a Housekeeping Houseperson to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example: mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.), as needed;
  • Clean designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, public areas, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms;
  • Greet guests in a friendly manner;
  • Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair;
  • Respond appropriately to guest and associate inquiries to ensure total guest satisfaction;
  • Clean all internal offices, emptying trash, vacuuming and dusting;
  • Maintaining each storage and distribution area ensuring they are clean and organized;
  • Distributing linen and supplies to designated areas in the hotel in accordance with established par levels in each area;
  • Removing trash from work areas to the loading dock/dumpster and removing trash and linen from cleaning carts and housekeeping closets;
  • Reporting any linen shortages or other discrepancies to the appropriate manager or supervisor;
  • Assist the Housekeeping team with upkeep of supplies, delivery of linen, paper products, and cleaning as needed;
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Housekeeping or member of the management team;
  • Responsible for the overall cleanliness of assigned floors (i.e., vacuuming, buffing, etc.) while ensuring a clean environment for our guests;
  • Making up and delivering roll-a-way beds and baby cribs;
  • Delivering miscellaneous goods and supplies to guest rooms and delivering linen and supplies to guest floors.

Requirements:

  • Previous hotel experience preferred, but not required;
  • You must be able to pass a thorough background check and drug screening;
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule;
  • Guests first attitude;
  • Friendly and outgoing personality.
