Our company is looking for a Front Desk/Guest Service Agent to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Keeping records of room availability and guests’ accounts. May make, confirm and cancel reservations for guests;
  • Computing bill for and collecting payment from guests;
  • Answering inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests and shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions.

Requirements:

  • Ensure proper credit policies are followed. Submit all lost & found articles accompanied by a completed lost & found report;
  • Complete all items on appropriate (AM, PM, Overnight) checklist by end of shift;
  • Monitor room availability throughout the day;
  • Check in and out hotel guests in a confident, professional and friendly manner;
  • Associate may have to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl;
  • Associate may have to lift up to 50 pounds;
  • Conduct pre-assignment of hotel rooms, which includes VIPS, repeat guests, all packages, and any special requests;
  • Performs all other duties as directed by immediate supervisor;
  • Associate must be able to work on feet for up to 8 hours a day;
  • Answer all phone calls promptly and knowledgeably, always ensuring complete and accurate information;
  • Associate is often required to sit and use his or her hands and fingers, to handle or feel;
  • Associate must be able to sit in the same position for up to 8 hours a day consecutively;
  • Associate must talk and hear;
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
