Our company is looking for a Kitchen Cook to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.);
  • Check food while cooking to stir or turn;
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly;
  • Check quality of ingredients;
  • Cook food in various utensils or grillers;
  • Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served;
  • Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment;
  • Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages;
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A few months to one year of related experience;
  • Multitasks well;
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Coordination;
  • Active listening;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication;
  • Monitoring;
  • Ability to follow all sanitation procedures;
  • Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.);
  • Experience in using cutting tools, cookware;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Excellent physical condition and stamina;
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage;
  • Proven experience as cook;
  • Very Good communication skills.
