Our company is looking for a Restaurant Server to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time;
- And most importantly, be a TEAM PLAYER with a positive, friendly attitude;
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs;
- Fills condiments;
- Reports to work well-groomed, in clean and proper uniform and at all times practices good personal hygiene;
- Communicates with Manager on Duty and coworkers regarding product/service deficiencies. equipment, safety problems. Etc;
- Assists Team Members;
- Order processing;
- Restocks garnish line;
- Using acquired menu knowledge, offers menu suggestions, answers questions and anticipates guests needs;
- Maintains service stations, garnish line, service bar and common areas of the restaurant;
- Pre-busses whenever possible;
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently;
- Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems;
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner.
Requirements:
- High school diploma is a plus but not required;
- Responsible and trustworthy;
- Must have an outgoing, friendly personality and a cheerful, accommodating disposition;
- Proven restaurant serving experience;
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists;
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, schedule or recipe form;
- Good working knowledge of accepted standards of sanitation;
- Flexible Schedule;
- Experience in an Italian restaurant is also a plus but not required;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner;
- Restaurant serving experience preferred;
- A friendly disposition and the ability to work as a team with others;
- Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system;
- Previous hotel experience a plus, but not required;
- Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
