Return Agent Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Return Agent to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Keep lot organized for ease of access and traffic flow;
- Identify and tag vehicles that have been flagged for grounding or preventative maintenance and verify their movement to the proper lot location;
- Inquire about service, satisfaction and document dissatisfaction;
- Greet all customers using prescribed, appropriate dialogue as they arrive on the lot;
- Remind customer to check for personal belongings. Identify any items found in the vehicle with a unit number, date, time and turn into lost and found;
- Complete a service alert for any mechanical and or body damage communicated by the customers;
- Use of proper statement to determine if vehicle is being returned with full tank of gas;
- Understand the damage loss report reporting procedure;
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and spot clean cars as needed;
- Show customers features of the vehicle and answer any questions that they may have;
- Complete return transactions with 100% accuracy;
- Communicate with Rental Sales Agent regarding fleet and customer needs;
- Pull vehicles up to customer as needed;
- Management reserves the right to modify, change or delete assigned duties;
- Shuttle vehicles between the front parking lot and back parking lot.
Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future;
- A minimum of basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office Products required;
- Must be willing and able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time;
- Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations or accidents within the past 3 years;
- Must be able to work in the LAKE BUENA VISTA/DISNEY area;
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work;
- Minimum of 1 year experience handling customer service responsibilities;
- Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions;
- Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 convicted moving violations in the last 3 years;
- We currently are looking to fill two part time positions and have open availability for scheduling;
- Minimum of 1 year customer service experience in a fast paced environment;
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required;
- Must be willing to work at the Sanford Airport;
- No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years;
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position, now or in the future.
