Our company is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Nights to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Participating in hourly rounds;
- Maintaining unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed;
- Performing services for the patient involving bathing using basinless bath products, oral hygiene and oral feeding and care of hair;
- Answering patient lights and performing services in a timely manner that adds to the physical well-being of the patient;
- Keeping the patient’s rooms in clean and orderly condition, including making beds;
- Maintaining the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs;
- Accommodates patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport;
- Assists with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN);
- Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff;
- Assists with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly;
- Maintains the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Current BLS;
- Knowledge of basic nursing techniques and procedures, aseptic practices, and proficiency obtaining vital signs.
