CNA Caregiver Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a CNA Caregiver to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation;
- Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary;
- Light housekeeping tasks (vacuum, wet mop, dust, laundry, etc.);
- Dementia Care, Hospice care support;
- Meal preparation;
- Transportation;
- Offer activities that am essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary;
- Dressing, bathing, toileting, transfers, eating;
- Personal Care;
- Supervision and companionship;
- Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care;
- Hoyer lift and gait belt transfers;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Help or remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation;
- Incidental Transportation.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program;
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties;
- Supportive and compassionate High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program;
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties;
- TB Screening;
- a great attitude required;
- dedicated to working with older adults;
- excellent standards of care;
- Punctual;
- experience as an LPN in an Assisted Living Facility preferred;
- Direct Deposit;
- CNA certification (preferred, not required);
- Flexible Schedule;
- A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others;
- Will to get First Aid and TB test if you do not already have it.
