Our company is looking for a CT Technologist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines;
  • Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted;
  • Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately;
  • Prepares and administers contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations;
  • Current Texas License (MRT);
  • Performing imaging procedures and producing high quality diagnostic computed tomography images;
  • Performs CT guided biopsy procedures;
  • ARRT Registry;
  • Basic Life Support (American Heart Association);
  • Will work with State of the Art equipment;
  • Associates Degree;
  • Varied shifts;
  • ARRT (CT);
  • State of Florida Radiography;
  • Performs services in accordance to an accepted standard of practice and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure.

Requirements:

  • Participate in on call rotation as determined by department;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Maintains clean and stocked CT procedure room on a daily basis;
  • Knowledge of the techniques of diagnostic radiography;
  • License from Indiana State Department of Health;
  • Ability to prioritize assignments;
  • Minimum of one year of experience as radiologic technologist preferred or advanced training in medical imaging technology;
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT);
  • Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning;
  • Venipuncture skills;
  • Ability to communicate technical information in such a way that a patient can understand the procedure and what is expected of them;
  • BLS issued through AHA;
  • 2 years of recent CT experience in a clinical / hospital setting;
  • Labels all scans appropriately and uses proper patient ID on film prior to development of film;
  • Basic Life Support certification.
