Our company is looking for a FT Pharmacy Technician I to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records;
  • Receive and process wholesaler medication orders;
  • Help maintain a clean organized work environment;
  • Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies;
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and members of the clinic staff;
  • Occasional medication delivery to consumers;
  • Perform various clerical duties relating to the department;
  • Work with the pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • PTCB Certification is preferred, but not required for all states;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and telephone protocol. Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills;
  • Some Pharmacy Technician experience is required;
  • Must be a licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state you are applying to work;
  • Candidates for the position will be subject to a standard reference, background check and drug screening;
  • Licenses/Certifications: As required by government regulations and business needs;
  • Desired: Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician; previous experience in a long term care pharmacy;
  • HS diploma or equivalent required;
  • Required: Ability to operate a computer;
  • Detail oriented; goal oriented, team player, oral communication;
  • Desired: Ability to recognize and identify medications;
  • HS Diploma or equivalent;

  • Must be available to work Mon – Fri between the hours of 11am-730pm some weekends.
