Our company is looking for a Medical Records Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Sorting records and putting them in chronological order for the doctors;
  • Associates Degree;
  • Scanning in medical records to make them electronic files;
  • OR equivalent from two-year college;
  • Make confirmation calls for appointments;
  • Data entry;
  • Answering and routing incoming calls;
  • OR technical school;
  • Back up other offices as need be.

Requirements:

  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations is a must;
  • Proficiency using Windows and knowledge of computer operations;
  • Excellent customer skills with an ability to multitask in a fast paced environment;
  • Experience using Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel);
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting and familiarity with medical terminology;
  • Ability to juggle several high priority tasks at once;
  • At least (1) one year of relevant experience using an electronic medical record (EMR);
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and time-management skills without compromising attention to detail;
  • High school diploma required;
  • Able to learn and adapt quickly;
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience is preferred;
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
