Our company is looking for a Occupational Therapist Otr to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities;
  • Complying with federal, state, and local certification requirements;
  • Evaluating patient condition regarding physical and basic mental health;
  • Evaluating results and progress of occupational therapy on clients;
  • Maintaining professional knowledge and technical progress in order to provide clients with the best treatment program available;
  • Conducting physical and psychological assessments of clients and developing or following a treatment plan;
  • Assessing home and work environments of clients and deciding what adjustments are needed;
  • Educating caregivers and family members of clients on patient care;
  • Preparing clients for a return to work;
  • Developing physical rehabilitation programs to help clients regain lost skills.

Requirements:

  • Flexibility and team work;
  • Experience with the geriatric population;
  • Understanding of current Medicare billing regulations;
  • Good organizational and problem solving skills;
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with an active OT license in the state of practice;
  • Must be a licensed Therapist who is a graduate of an accredited school;
  • A passion for working with elderly residents;
  • Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment;
  • Must maintain a good working relationship with other health care professionals;
  • Compliant with state healthcare regulatory requirements;
  • Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program;
  • Certified by the National Board for Certification;
  • Ability to take care of clients with different personalities;
  • Comfortable using a computer for various tasks;
  • Ability to assess patient condition and work with treatment plans.
