Our company is looking for a Rn – Operating Room to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing the well being of the patient before, during and after the procedure;
- Anticipate the needs of the surgeons and hand medical instruments and medical supplies to them during operations;
- Preserving and labeling all items needed for laboratory examinations;
- Analyzing the well being of the patient before, during and after the procedure;
- Assume duties within or out of the sterile field as assigned;
- Collecting and logging all items needed for lab work;
- Collecting and labeling the items needed for lab work;
- Evaluate patient in postoperative phases;
- Assume responsibility of keeping the operating room sterilized;
- Collecting and labeling the items needed for laboratory examinations;
- Anticipate what the surgeons need and give instruments and medical supplies to them during operations;
- Monitor patient’s vital signs to detect anomalies;
- Assessing the well being of the patient before, during and after the operation;
- Adhere to safety standards and precautions;
- Assess patients prior to surgery (e.g. NPO status) and alleviate their concerns.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as operating room nurse (circulating and scrub);
- Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques;
- In-depth knowledge of surgical operation procedures;
- A great team player with excellent communication skills;
- Cool tempered with emotional and physical stamina;
- Outstanding organizational ability;
- Need a valid RN License;
- Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
