Rn Prn Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Rn Prn to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Performs assessments of clients;
- May perform the following tasks in accordance with established procedures and as prescribed by applicable licensure/certification;
- Supervise CNA’s and LPN’s and participate in their evaluation;
- Assists in competency testing of caregivers and record maintenance;
- Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies;
- Conduct and document a thorough evaluation of each resident’s medical status upon admission and throughout the resident’s course of treatment;
- Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team;
- Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants;
- Performs other duties as directed;
- Assists with coordination of care between client, agencies, caregivers and medical personnel;

- Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for each assigned resident;
- Provide nursing services;
- Records the administration of medication;
- Provides education to members responsible for assisting the client with personal care needs.
Requirements:
- Weekly Pay Option;
- CPR certification strongly desired;
- BLS certification required;

- PA RN nursing license, required;
- Prior experience as an RN in a nursing community;
- 2 years acute Med-Surg or Telemetry experience, required;
- Scheduling App;
- Ability to work flexible hours;

- Six (6) months previous experience as a ETT, EMT, CNA, Psychiatric Technician or related position in a healthcare industry;
- ACLS Certification Preferred.
