Our company is looking for a Automation Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience prolonged sitting, standing, bending, stooping, climbing and stretching;
  • Be exposed to noisy environments, ability to wear PPE;
  • Attendance is mandatory;
  • Support company manufacturing activities 24/7;
  • The ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds;
  • Travel time up to 10%;
  • Occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places;
  • Occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals;
  • Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat;
  • Occasionally exposed to non-toxic propane fumes or airborne particles;
  • Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, hand tools and small to medium-sized power tool use;
  • Occasionally in an office environment;
  • Occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals;
  • Mechanical assembly;
  • Regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock.

Requirements:

  • Experience with electrical safe work practices – NFPA 70-E Electrical Safety Standard;
  • Associate Degree in mechanical, electrical, or other engineering disciplines;
  • Experience troubleshooting and programming PLC’s, HMI’s, and independent electronic components;
  • A minimum of two (2) years of direct work experience in the maintenance and upkeep of (AGV’s);
  • Leadership experience.
