Our company is looking for a Body Shop Estimator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate supplements to customers and insurance companies on the same business day as written;
  • Presenting information and responding to questions from groups or managers, clients, customers, and the general;
  • Evaluating practicality of repair as opposed to payment of vehicle market value before accident;
  • Write repair orders and manage work assignments;
  • Meeting or exceeding revenue targets by capturing every viable job that comes to the door, and upselling additional services;
  • Excellent sales abilities and overall communication skills;
  • You may also serve as a go-to lead when the General Manager is not present at the body shop;
  • Write accurate estimates and track the vehicle’s progress through the repair process, keeping the customer continually informed and the files updated;
  • Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order;
  • Obtain customer and vehicle information;
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction;
  • Explain all completed work and charges to customers;
  • Manage workflow throughout repair process;
  • Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts;
  • Follow ABRA policy on customer communication throughout the repair process. Ensures that all customers understand the CSI “10” survey process.

Requirements:

  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Teammate with collaborative mindset;
  • Basic Computer skills;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Computer experience and willingness to learn new programs;
  • Confidence to handle high volume estimator needs under limited availability;
  • Ability to learn new technology;
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment;
  • Ability to learn new technology and research OEM repair procedures;
  • Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds DMS and Profitnet Management Systems is a plus;
  • Ensures that customer’s cars are kept clean;
  • Math, reading, and computer skills;
  • Able to work with little supervision;
  • Computer skills and money management skills.
