Entry Level/Oil Change Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Entry Level/Oil Change Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts;
- Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary;
- Check tire pressure and add air if needed;
- Keep shop area neat and clean;
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership;
- Achieve customer service satisfaction through prompt and accurate service and communication;
- Demand the highest ethical standards from self and others;
- Set an example of positive attitude and professionalism, including a neat, orderly and safe work environment;
- Follow policies and procedures as per your specific manufacture manual;
- Assess any supplemental vehicle needs;
- Maintain ability to handle job stress and effective interaction with others in the workplace;
- Perform other duties as requested by management;
- Regular attendance and timeliness as set forth within the work schedule designated by department supervisor/manager is required;
- Operate with integrity;
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times and adhere to all OSHA/EPA requirements.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Collaborates well with others in a team setting;
- Entry-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair preferred;
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record;
- Strong physical dexterity for working with tools;
- Basic Computer skills;
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Punctual and reliable;
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment;
- Enjoy working in a fast paced environment;
- Willingness to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications;
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality;
- Strong communication skills;
- Must have own tools/box.
