Our company is looking for a Experienced Diesel Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Keep shop area neat and clean;
- Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events;
- Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair;
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts;
- Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician;
- Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the proper place;
- Tag all warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk;
- Documents all work performed including the 3 C’s of Complaint, Cause, Correction;
- Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management of the company;
- Make every effort to achieve the production objectives set by management;
- Other tasks as assigned;
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction;
- Diagnoses cause of malfunctions and performs repair;
- Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins;
- Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
Requirements:
- Must have experience with high pressure common rail fuel systems, exhaust after-treatment, electrical troubleshooting, and hydraulics;
- Manufacturer hands on & web based training (Technicians);
- 2 year technical school graduate preferred;
- Must be self-motivated and conduct oneself in a professional manner;

- 1-year fleet or dealership experience in a diesel shop is required; 3-5 years preferred;
- Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs. Heavy equipment and or agricultural experience is a plus;
