Our company is looking for a Experienced Diesel Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep shop area neat and clean;
  • Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events;
  • Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair;
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts;
  • Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician;
  • Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the proper place;
  • Tag all warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk;
  • Documents all work performed including the 3 C’s of Complaint, Cause, Correction;
  • Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management of the company;
  • Make every effort to achieve the production objectives set by management;
  • Other tasks as assigned;
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction;
  • Diagnoses cause of malfunctions and performs repair;
  • Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins;
  • Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience with high pressure common rail fuel systems, exhaust after-treatment, electrical troubleshooting, and hydraulics;
  • Manufacturer hands on & web based training (Technicians);
  • 2 year technical school graduate preferred;
  • Must be self-motivated and conduct oneself in a professional manner;

  • Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team;
  • 1-year fleet or dealership experience in a diesel shop is required; 3-5 years preferred;
  • Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs. Heavy equipment and or agricultural experience is a plus;
