Our company is looking for a Facilities Maintenance to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment;
  • Report unsafe conditions, broken or malfunctioning equipment to Supervisor;
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects concurrently;
  • Responsible for maintenance of heating and ventilating equipment and notifying management of any major repairs;
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned;
  • Replaces/cleans air conditioner filter;
  • Knowledge of Machine Repairs;
  • Prioritize and complete work orders;
  • Assist property managers in various capacities;
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required;
  • Operate a computer to get email and to input time spent on work orders;
  • Provide innovative solutions to help resolve on-going breakdowns;
  • Comply with all Safety and Quality requirements while performing your job;
  • Performing preventative and ongoing facility and forklift maintenance;
  • Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.

Requirements:

  • Ability to handle physical workload;
  • Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment;
  • Previous experience in maintenance;
  • Possess excellent people skills and works well in a team environment;
  • Dependable and reliable;
  • Must be able to communicate with all staff effectively, professionally and efficiently;
  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing environments;
  • 2yr degree in HVAC, Mechanical Systems, Facilities Technology, or Building Maintenance from an accredited institution preferred ;
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs;
  • Ability to safely and effectively work on plant facilities and equipment;
  • Ability to interpret and analyze electrical diagrams or schematics;
  • Understanding and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing;
  • 2-3 years previous maintenance experience or equivalent technical training;
  • Read and understand operating manuals;
  • Able to work off shifts, holiday, weekend, and overtime as necessary .
