Our company is looking for a Leasing Paralegal to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with other legal and lease-related duties as needed;
  • Assist in-house lease preparation team and company leadership with complex and sensitive lease-related documents;
  • Assist with the maintenance of summaries and abstracts of Healthpeak medical office assets;
  • Perform highly confidential administrative duties, information management, and complex word processing text input and editing;
  • Assist lease preparation team and company leadership with complex and sensitive lease-related documents;
  • Work with leasing, property management, and asset management personnel to resolve lease-related issues;
  • Analyze and understand ground leases, declarations of covenants, and other documents;
  • Assist with the maintenance of summaries and abstracts of office properties;
  • Work closely with company attorneys to negotiate and implement non-standard language into lease documents;
  • Prepare and circulate documents for electronic and wet ink signature; collect, circulate, and archive same;
  • Draft correspondence and complete internal company forms;
  • Prepare and review leases, amendments, subleases, terminations, and other lease-related documents.

Requirements:

  • Effective communicator and collaborator;
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • Strong writing, editing and research skills;
  • Experienced with preparation and review of commercial lease documents;
  • MS Outlook, Word, & Excel proficient.
