Environmental Project Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Environmental Project Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in Company’s continuous improvement programs and provide support to team efforts;
- storm water;
- groundwater sampling;
- Lead the coordination, planning, and administering of minor to complex environmental studies, including EISs, EIRs, and related documents;
- Ensure the integrity and completeness of all documents with strong QA/QC procedures;
- site characterization;
- Provide feedback to environmental analysts to develop and grow their expertise and competency;
- Manage environmental projects. Projects include, but are not limited to studies related to: Phase I/II ESAs;
- hazardous building materials investigations;
- Maintains confidentiality at all times;
- Edit reports, correspondence, permit applications, and business development materials;
- environmental compliance;
- Conduct environmental impact analysis and lead a team to develop mitigation strategies;
- Compose letters, technical memorandums, and technical reports;
- solid waste disposal.
Requirements:
- OSHA 24-Hour HAZWOPER Certification preferred;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing environmental projects;
- Highly motivated and team-oriented;
- Effective and concise communication;
- Positive attitude;
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology;
- Strong business acumen and financial knowledge;
- Strong leadership and relationship building skills;
- RCRA and DOT regulatory compliance experience strongly preferred;
