Our company is looking for a Environmental Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish long-term, value-add relationships with local farmers;
  • Provide technical information and presentations to farmers, regulatory agencies, municipal clients, and the general public as needed;
  • Complete regulatory permit forms, maintain company compliance, etc;
  • Acquire and maintain adequate land base for the Project;
  • Contact farmers on a consistent basis in order to address concerns and obtain feedback on performance;
  • Track product shipments and land application quantities. Responsible for the timely submittal and uploading of data into the tracking database;
  • Act as farmer liaison with Operations staff and regulatory liaison with state and local agencies;
  • Coordinate field scheduling with the Operational Manager and farmers. Ensure availability for back up operations;
  • Assist with Operations, Sales, and Project Development teams when necessary;
  • Process regulatory related customer Service Requests (SR’s) to deliver top quality system configuration, repairs and enhancements;
  • Attend conferences and state environmental board meetings as required to support the business;
  • Company Liaison with EPA, state, and International regulatory officials and customers on emissions regulation issues;
  • Keep abreast of new environmental regulations, including new international, US state, and US federal environmental air regulatory changes;
  • Attend regulatory meetings and conferences and update business on future industry needs;
  • Some travel as necessary to support business needs.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Major Source Permits (Title V), New Source Review requirements, and the PSD permitting process;
  • Creative problem solving;
  • 2+ years experience in environmental field. Preferably in the Air Media;
  • BS Environmental Science, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical engineering degree;
  • Good computer skills;
  • Knowledge of biosolids and other residuals management, processing, and operations;
  • Knowledge of concepts, practices, procedures, methods, and techniques used in agricultural and/or farming operations;
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean MVR;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Excel and Outlook;
  • Bachelor’s degree in agricultural science or related environmental degree preferred;
  • Public speaking;
  • Knowledge of regulations related to biosolids and non-hazardous residuals industry;
  • Able to perform continuous walking, standing, and lifting;
  • Heavy industry experience is a plus;
  • BS in Environmental Sciences or BS in Environmental Management.
