Our company is looking for a QA Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Help develop new and improved laboratory procedures;
  • Complete data sheets or data entry into computer system;
  • Packaging line audits – sampling product, lab testing, checking weights, HACCP audit, date code control, seals and reporting results;
  • Control samples, organize and maintain controls samples;
  • Sample rechecks – resampling and testing of samples that have been placed on hold;
  • Keep lab clean;
  • Product lab testing;
  • Retain samples, organize and label retain samples;
  • Prepare reject reports and reject pallet tags;
  • Calibrate lab equipment.

Requirements:

  • Manage product status, holds, and dispositions through ERP system;
  • Assist in preparing for third party audits;
  • Must be able to pass the fragrance odor panel test;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Able to generate multiple possible solutions to problems. Requires little supervision when problem solving;
  • Generate CoAs as requested by shipping and customer service departments;
  • Must have a positive attitude;
  • Respond to testing investigations as required;
  • Ability to become competent in operational systems such as Lab, MRP and Warehouse;
  • Train production employees on QA topics;
  • Ability to handle pressure and demonstrate flexibility;
  • High school or equivalent;
  • Experienced Quality Assurance Inspector: 1 year required;
  • Able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and take initiative on specific issues;
  • Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from Management, Associates, etc.
