QA Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a QA Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Help develop new and improved laboratory procedures;
- Complete data sheets or data entry into computer system;
- Packaging line audits – sampling product, lab testing, checking weights, HACCP audit, date code control, seals and reporting results;
- Control samples, organize and maintain controls samples;
- Sample rechecks – resampling and testing of samples that have been placed on hold;
- Keep lab clean;
- Product lab testing;
- Retain samples, organize and label retain samples;
- Prepare reject reports and reject pallet tags;
- Calibrate lab equipment.
Requirements:
- Manage product status, holds, and dispositions through ERP system;
- Assist in preparing for third party audits;
- Must be able to pass the fragrance odor panel test;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Able to generate multiple possible solutions to problems. Requires little supervision when problem solving;
- Generate CoAs as requested by shipping and customer service departments;
- Must have a positive attitude;
- Respond to testing investigations as required;
- Ability to become competent in operational systems such as Lab, MRP and Warehouse;
- Train production employees on QA topics;
- Ability to handle pressure and demonstrate flexibility;
- High school or equivalent;
- Experienced Quality Assurance Inspector: 1 year required;
- Able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and take initiative on specific issues;
- Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from Management, Associates, etc.
