Our company is looking for a Brand Director to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with VP/Brand Director to create long-term plan for brand transformation and growth;
  • Contribute ideas in cross-functional, channel-agnostic team setting;
  • Excellent client communication builds trust, digs for insights, and sets expectations that allow for a brand to reach its biggest possible future;
  • Lead and coach day-to-day Brand Leadership team to develop brands strategy, identify, create and champion ideas;
  • Consumer Obsessed: Is the voice of the consumer and is obsessed about understanding barriers, drivers, and insights to take to action;
  • Leadership: Build, aligns and leads teams around a central brand positioning, planning framework, brand architecture and design system;
  • Manage and develop a team of brand experts serving as developers and protectors of the Live Action brand and message;
  • Lead and coach day-to-day Brand Leadership team to develop brands strategy, identify, create and champion ideas;
  • Accountable to all elements of clients’ experience with Barkley;
  • Proactively identify challenges and threats to the brand, both visual and written, and help implement quality controls across platforms;
  • Effectively communicate and document brand issues with department leaders;
  • Maintain individual skills, keeping up to date with latest best practices, trends, concepts, and regulations in the specific job area;
  • Determine and report relevant metrics and KPI’s weekly to the Executive Team;
  • Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team to meet CURiO goals;
  • Communication is critical. You will create and present routine status updates to cross functional teams and organization leaders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant brand or agency experience;
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience required;
  • Experience utilizing data and measurement to drive decisions;
  • Integrated Marketing experience. Proven track record of driving campaigns across multiple channels;
  • Strategic mindset and the ability to connect long-term vision to short-term objectives and initiatives;
  • Great communicator engaging and influencing at all levels of organizational leadership;
  • Extensive experience in building, developing, and coaching a team;
  • Superb communication skills, written and oral. A strong writer, with the ability to shape copy to reach different audiences;
  • A high degree of business acumen;
  • College degree (BA required, advanced degree preferred) in business, marketing, communications or an equivalent combination of education;
  • A passion for defending the pre-born and the Live Action mission;
  • Skilled in: Adobe Creative Suite and social media management platforms: Hubspot, Planoly, Facebook Creator Studio, Youtube Studio, etc;
  • Proactive, self-reliant and a strong focus on results;
  • Experience must include strategic planning, communications planning and management, marketing and media relations;
  • 10+ years of experience in brand or campaign marketing, ideally for another brand, CPG, or retailer.
