Our company is looking for a Business Strategy Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement continuous process improvement;
  • Deliver growth of commerce advertising solutions (ie. product or feed ads);
  • Building a strong knowledge of VMG’s full suite of product capabilities – across search, content, communications and adtech;
  • Building strong relationships with internal partners across Operations, Product, Marketing and External Outreach teams;
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of the global digital advertising space;
  • Partnering with sales and account management to drive adoption of new and existing ad solutions;
  • Track, analyze and communicate key metrics and business trends;
  • Contributing to go-to-market collateral and initiatives;
  • Prepare internal and external documents and presentations;
  • Giving and soliciting feedback from other teams in order to continually raise our bar for quality;
  • Orchestrating impact analysis and recommendations across sales, marketing, delivery, legal, & finance;
  • Developing strong relationships, embracing cross-boundary collaboration to influence peers and senior executives across the company;
  • Analysis of business models and how they perform in the market as offers and programs;
  • Analyzing key competitive trends identifying new revenue and share growth opportunities.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience;
  • Ability to identify unique ways to motivate others and willingness to break down barriers to deliver results;
  • Demonstrated success working in a cross-functional environment;
  • Understanding of go-to-market practices to successfully launch new solutions;
  • 5+ years of professional experience within an adtech or similar company;
  • Strong verbal, presentation & written communication skills directed to day-to-day contacts & up to C-level executives;
  • An ability to thrive in an ambiguous, rapidly changing environment, often having to make decisions with imperfect and/or incomplete data;
  • Willing to take on a big challenge with significant growth potential;
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in technology marketing, strategy, or business consulting (required);
  • Strong Communication and presentation skills;
  • BS/BA (required); MS / MBA strongly preferred;
  • Great analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to build compelling cases for change;
  • An advanced understanding of technology business models (required);
  • MBA preferred;
  • Must be comfortable working through details while keeping an eye on the big picture.
