Our company is looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with primarily commercial lines;
  • Responsible for the marketing/quoting process for both new business and account renewals;
  • Accurately input policy updates and account information;
  • Identify, compile and manage information regarding account renewals;
  • market to carriers;
  • check policies/endorsements/audits for accuracy;
  • prepare quotes and proposals;
  • coordinate premium financing and the collection of premiums, as needed;
  • maintain renewal controls on expirations and binders;
  • issue certificates, as needed;
  • Coordinate transfer of data (spread sheeting) to external vendors, plan providers, auditors, and consultants;
  • assist with managing the entire account-service process;
  • Maintain knowledge of and analysis insurance regulations, trends, and prevailing practices among similar organizations;
  • Planning and directing quoting process, implementation and administration of various accounts over several industries;
  • assist with client presentations.

Requirements:

  • Manages, organizes, and conducts client meetings when necessary;
  • Attends industry related continuing education training and courses;
  • Prepares reports for management as required;
  • Experience with various carriers and working directly with their underwriters;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of property and casualty insurance, underwriting concepts and administration;
  • Applied (TAM or EPIC) or AMS360 software experience. AMS 360 is preferred;
  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Property/Casualty license or ability to attain preferred;
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial lines coverages and markets;
  • Current Florida 220 or 440 license;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products;
  • Create and maintain strong business relationships with clients;
  • Active Ca P&C license;
  • Analyze complex insurance situations and communicate options in a clear and concise manner;
  • Work effectively within organization to resolve problems in a timely manner.
