Our company is looking for a Commercial Relationship Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Approves draws from lines of credit, loan payoff details, and funds transfers within specified limits;
- Creation of high level documentation for review of new clients;
- Assist with early stage High Level discussion package and information gathering for opportunities;
- Provides general oversight on other risk management related matters that may arise in bank’s daily operations;
- Services and retains a portfolio of clients with the goal of growing both loan and deposit balances;
- Knowledge of all bank products and continual development of product expertise;
- Attend client meetings and assist with follow ups;
- Facilitates developing, analyzing and finalizing complex loan structures and agreements as needed;
- Research of prospects for Relationship Managers;
- Maintains up to date knowledge of products, services;
- Review Term Sheets, Proposal Letters, Commitment Letters;
- MAX relationship planning and pre calling planning;
- Prospects and develops calling lists on targeted market segment by coordinating all sales and service efforts;
- Ensures loan account risk ratings remain accurate;
- Assists in providing scheduled and unscheduled officer coverage of bank’s locations as may be required.
Requirements:
- Previous community banking experience a plus;
- Ability to leverage proven marketing and business development skills with current and prospective bank clients;
- Advanced experience, knowledge and training in all lending activities and terminology (with an emphasis on Commercial/Business banking.);
- Credit analysis background preferred;
- Ability to learn business development techniques with a commitment to developing a strong community presence and team sales approach;
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing;
- Previous experience developing, analyzing and finalizing complex loan agreements in conjunction with legal counsel;
- Advanced knowledge of related state and federal lending and compliance regulations, and other Bank lending policies;
- Strong word processing and spreadsheet software skills;
- 5 to 10 years’ experience consisting of a proven successful track record in a financial analysis or lending capacity;
- Knowledge of laws and regulations that govern lending;
- Undergraduate degree, preferable in business/finance;
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills;
- Experience in leading less experienced loan officers and other staff members as necessary to accomplish team objectives and meet client needs;
- Strong reasoning and writing skills to efficiently communicate well supported rationale for all types of credit decisions and actions.
