Our company is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize – Cybersecurity development environment certification;
  • Develop and maintain security training programs are developed and maintained;
  • Perform information security vulnerability testing and mitigate any nonconformance;
  • Implement Cybersecurity Program strategy;
  • Support program and customer management, and government Authorizing Official (AO) for all information security status, policies, and procedures;
  • Document DHS RMF Security Implementation Plan artifacts. Coordinate and assist development team with application artifact documentation;
  • Monitor and inspect for approved software usage and implementation of approved antivirus and other security related software;
  • Enhance – Implement Cybersecurity vulnerability/ hardening testing;
  • Maintain scheduling of events, meetings, briefings and represent the ISSM as needed;
  • Assist with management of Authorization and Assessment processes for multiple authorities to operate across multiple sites;
  • Work with the ISSM to coordinate and supervise daily operations;
  • Provide technical security expertise on projects for voice, video, and data systems;
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the cybersecurity mission, values and culture of the organization;
  • Ensure that security solutions are acquired, configured and implemented correctly;
  • Advocate and enforce cybersecurity best practices and share insights throughout the organization.

Requirements:

  • Ability to adapt in response to shifts in customer priorities;
  • Detail-oriented, ability to consistently provide high-quality products that are concise, thorough and accurate;
  • Experience with on-prem WAF solutions;
  • Network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, routers, wireless access points);
  • Work with development teams to troubleshoot WAF rulesets and applications interactions with them;
  • 2-5 years of experience in cyber security roles and functions;
  • A willingness to be challenged along with a strong appetite for learning;
  • Minimum o IAT II certification (security+/Network+, CISSP);
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security or similar disciplines;
  • Demonstrated adaptability, analytical and problem solving ability, and attention to detail;
  • Developing WAF incident response plans;
  • Identity and Access Management;
  • Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5–7 years of related experience;
  • Understanding of PKI;
  • Experience developing, maintaining, enhancing or selecting WAF rulesets.
