Our company is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Vulnerability analysis and remediation;
  • Supports security authorization activities in compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF);
  • and the implementation of Cyber Security and IA boundary defense techniques and various IA-enabled appliances;
  • Maintain, configure, and analyze network and host-based security platforms;
  • Assess current and planned information systems, identifying security architecture issues, and designing solutions for gaps;
  • Maintain and update relevant system and process documentation and develop ad-hoc reports as needed;
  • Provide off-hours support on an infrequent, but as needed basis;
  • Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with all team members;
  • Performs Information System Security Manager (ISSO) duties on assigned government-authorized systems;
  • Assist the development of security tool requirements, trials, and evaluations, as well as security operation procedures and processes;
  • Serve as the final tier of support for security\system\network administration issues to all of the System Administrators within the JMICS Program;
  • Develop and modify software tools to assist system admins in the advanced configuration and reconfiguration of the JMICS Information Systems;
  • Conduct site visits completing site level certification tests, site surveys, and risk analysis;
  • Serve as the JMICS Security/System/Network administration SME and Tier III support;
  • Work with JMICS Senior System Engineer and System Architect to create, maintain, and deploy JMICS Secure Baseline.

Requirements:

  • Currently possess DoD 8750 IA certification at IAM II: CISSP or CISM;
  • Experience with Baseline Creation and Deployment (Sysprepping, Ghost, and virtual importing and exporting);
  • Experience maintaining Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2008, and Server 2012 R2 platforms;
  • Currently possess an active DoD TS/SCI security clearance;
  • Currently possess DoD 8750 Computer Environment (CE) Certification relevant to the position: CompTIA Server+, MCSA, MCITP, or related certification.
