Director, Finance Transformation Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Director, Finance Transformation to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and prioritize existing integration requirements and process inefficiencies, recommend solutions and drive their timely implementations;
- Prepare presentation materials and participate in routine update meetings with segment and corporate stakeholders;
- Develop measures of success to track progress towards Transformation goals;
- Identify potential issues and risks and develop mitigation strategies;
- Establish new processes as needed to ensure successful DTCI Transformation program management and project execution.
Requirements:
- Strong influencing, partnership and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent communicator in both oral and written settings;
- Must be comfortable dealing with complex, ambiguous and challenging issues and working with and manipulating large data sets;
- Ability to analyze and improve processes;
- Strong understanding of The Walt Disney Company’s finance processes, tools and systems across multiple segments;
- Ability to influence Executive leadership;
- Self-driven, change-oriented, independent thinker;
- Ability to translate the business/finance language of each segment (e.g. Ultimates and Per Caps);
- Must be able to interact with all levels of management;
- Ability to balance the perfect with the pragmatic to reach outcomes that move the organization forward quickly and effectively;
- A minimum of ten years prior work experience;
- Demonstrated proactive, positive conflict resolution skills;
- Ability to conduct deep dive analysis and present information to key stakeholders in a digestible way;
- Intellectual curiosity, appetite to do things better and proactive nature;
- Strong technical and general accounting and finance knowledge.
