Director – Imaging Services Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Director – Imaging Services to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer complaints, concerns and suggestions and resolve appropriately or provide appropriate follow through;
- Develop and implement financial objectives, direct the financial planning process, and prepare and monitor departmental budgets;
- Oversee the evaluation and acquisition of capital equipment. Authorize the purchase and implementation of new technology, resources and equipment;
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned;
- Oversee quality management and process improvement processes;
- Establishes written policies and procedures, which meets the requirements of JCAHO;
- Is responsible for the selection, specifications, pricing, procurement, and installation of all capital acquisition requests;
- Oversee human resources management and development including recruitment, performance evaluations, disciplinary process and retention of staff;
- Participates as a member of hospital committees as prescribed by JCAHO requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years’ experience as a radiologic technologist;
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a manager.
