Our company is looking for a Director of Finance and Accounting to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with consolidating financial reporting deck presentations;
  • Primary lead in preparation of monthly variance explanations;
  • Assist with monthly deck presentations for Management;
  • Review and approve P&L/Cash Flow submissions and Cause of Change;
  • Support preparation of brand business plans and analyses;
  • Oversee and direct monthly accounting tasks;
  • Collaborate to prepare dashboards to track KPIs of different lines of business;
  • Provides accounting guidance;
  • Assess policies and processes, while making recommendations to gain efficiencies, streamline workflow and improve reporting;
  • Prepare financial models and strategic analyses;
  • Understand all lines of business key metrics and strategic direction.

Requirements:

  • Contract fund document processing;
  • Previous experience enhancing, developing, implement, and enforcing accounting policies and procedures to include compilation of an accounting manual;
  • Contract financial reporting and associated financial support in relation to AR/AP/expenses;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
  • Maintain financial analyst project summary dashboard monthly;
  • Ability to work with accountant ensuring proper cost accounting for all company programs (Overhead, G&A, Fringe, etc);
  • Excellent oral and written communications and customer service skills;
  • Manage all audits, including financial and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), with sound understanding of DCAA compliance;
  • Experience with Paylocity payroll system, QuickBooks accounting software, Big Time Timekeeping a plus.
