Our company is looking for a Director Of Finance And Operations to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Key Performance Area V: Strategic Planning Support;
  • Key Performance Area II: Financial Operations Management;
  • Key Performance Area I: Billing and Collections;
  • Follows and supports South Lane School District policies and procedures;
  • May act as the boards’ agent for signing authorized contracts;
  • Directs the operation of the Business Office which includes accounting, auditing, payroll, purchasing, construction, and investing activities;
  • Assists and educates administrators and supervisors in managing department and school budgets. Provides advice on a wide range of financial matters;
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by participating in professional development opportunities;
  • Performs other duties as may be needed;
  • Be responsible for end-to-end company operations, including HR;
  • Lead the planning and forecasting processes in partnership with our Leadership team, and own all related board communications;
  • Preparing financial presentation materials and formal business case documents for use with senior management;
  • Oversight and management of hiring processes for staff;
  • Identifying and managing vendors across necessary functions;
  • Work with clients on contract management and execution including legal review, coordination and invoice management.

Requirements:

  • Experience with computerized accounting systems and spreadsheets;
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management;
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred;
  • Detail and results-oriented team player dedicated to getting the job done;
  • Knowledge of the structure and operations of federally qualified health centers (FQHC’s);
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks accounting software;
  • Excellent business writing, communication, and presentation skills;
  • Minimum of 10 to 12 years of strong related experience is required;
  • 4-year degree in Business, Finance or Accounting, Master of Business Administration preferred;
  • Direct experience managing accounts, accountants, tax planning and overseeing company finances (crypto-asset handling experience is a differentiator);
  • A data-driven approach to decision making, with advanced analytic, modeling, and forecasting skills;
  • Independently driven – this is a senior role with high expectations for autonomy and responsibility;
  • Ability to learn quickly (and enthusiastically): the amount of learning required in this space cannot be overstated;
  • Uphold cultural values of integrity and independence;
  • Experience with Treasury, Corporate Development, M&A, VC-funded startups, an advanced degree, MBA, or CPA qualifications are highly regarded.
