Engagement Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Engagement Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee project teams by creating highly effective and collaborative work environments;
- Design and execute market research studies (qualitative and quantitative) to inform engagements and client deliverables;
- Coordinate all aspects of project and serve as a liaison between customers, leadership team, and internal and external resources;
- Estimate project skill requirements and work with department managers to identify appropriate resources;
- Work with Customer Success and Account Management teams to develop SOWs and identify areas of solution expansion and professional services;
- Plan and facilitate planning sessions and training with clients;
- Collaborate with Coupa services partners during the implementation;
- Establish an account strategy to meet the client’s organizational business objectives and drive account growth/retention;
- Develop strong customer relationships that enable SocialChorus to become a trusted advisor for our customer’s executives;
- Create and/or improve implementation templates, training and presentations;

- Share relevant prior experiences with customers and colleagues;
- Engage customers in enlightened business need discussions versus feature/function basics;
- Provide Coupa platform demonstrations and various trainings;
- Lead all aspects of implementation from mobilization to deployment.
Requirements:
- Management experience;
- 30% Travel;
- Help desk or ITIL service management a plus;
- Experience with multiple operating systems, security policies and terminology;
- Experience in using ChangePoint, Salesforce, Smartsheets, Clarizen desired;
- Knowledge of IT security technologies and best practices preferred;
- 5-10 years field project management consulting experience;
- Technical application implementation experience especially related to knowledge and application of change management applications;
- 4-year degree in engineering, computer science, MIS, finance or equivalent;
- A proven track record of meeting with senior management and executives as the subject matter expert;
- Demonstrated ability to manage individual and engagement-wide scope of work;
- Mix of Onshore and Offshore;
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Experience with Procure to Pay process is highly desirable;
- Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
