Executive Sales Assistant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Executive Sales Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Help in managing and distributing incoming emails and calls for the Sales department (leads and referrals);
- Frequent business customer communication (B2B support);
- Assist with organizing client proposals and tracking opportunities;
- Build, maintain, and update templates for contracts and forms;
- Build, maintain and update dashboards using Salesforce;
- Assist with sending contracts and agreements;
- Build and deliver reports to management and various sales departments, based on expressed needs using Salesforce;
- Assist with setting up new leads, contacts, and projects and updating existing projects;
- Various other administrative assistant duties and sales admin support functions as needed;
- Act as a point of contact for the sales department and provide information and resources as requested.
Requirements:
- Previous experience with Salesforce.com;
- Must be Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Ability to work under general direction, on multiple tasks with demanding timelines;
- Ability to work effectively with team members on varying levels of the organization;
- Demonstrated organization skills and attention to detail;
- 2-5 years of administrative experience (experience supporting a Sales team is a big plus);
- Track sales orders to ensure that they are scheduled and sent out on time;
- Must be computer proficient;
- Manage all the sales related activity of the company;
- Handle a high volume of customer inquiries while providing a high quality of service to each caller;
- Act as administrative assistant to the Sales Team or other designated management;
- Ability to project a professional demeanor;
- Respond to sales inquiries via phone, email and in writing as directed by the Sales Team or account executives;
- Carry out administrative tasks such as data input, processing information, completing paperwork and filing documents;
- Speak with customers using clear and professional language.
