Our company is looking for a F&I Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a Daily Operating Control and review regularly with General Managers;
  • Secure the sale of the vehicle and protect the front-end gross. Ensure a positive experience for all customers;
  • Provide Sales Managers with an average interest rate on a monthly basis to be used in computing customer payments;
  • Finalize all paperwork necessary in the car deal in a timely and accurate manner and submit to the accounting office;
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with several lending sources;
  • Obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals. Collect and safeguard all money and fees required in the transactions;
  • Assist in any customer claims on any of the F&I products and follow up to make sure that claim is resolved in a satisfactory manner;
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings. Instruct and train sales teams in proper endorsement of F&I products and dealership financing;
  • Set up and maintain an adequate program which will ensure a 100-percent turnover ratio to the F&I department;
  • Acquire required insurance licenses and keep them current. Maintain insurance files including policies, rates, claim forms, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a dealership F&I Department, selling of financial services, or automotive sales required;
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Advanced degree a plus;
  • Ability to meet and exceed quotas according to the dealership standards;
  • Valid in-state driver’s license and MVR that meets company standards;
  • Strong customer service skills;
  • Must be able to work retails hours which includes evenings, Saturdays, and occasional holidays, per business needs;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
