Our company is looking for a Field Services, Business & Operations to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply comprehensive knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturers’ manuals or similar documents;
  • Perform other related duties as required by the supervisor or site manager;
  • Reviews all logs for open issues and prepares formal reports to customers as necessary;
  • Conduct and document preventative maintenance checks required for simulator and support equipment;
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations;
  • Act as liaison between customers and L3Harris Ocean Systems;
  • Comply with and ensure department compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies;
  • Order, install, and return parts and manages repair parts cycle time;
  • Other duties as required;
  • Assesses product/equipment performance based on field support data; recommends modifications or improvements;
  • Generate technical reports on support activities;
  • Remove and replace faulty equipment and complete maintenance data collection records;
  • Foster positive customer relations and a high degree of customer satisfaction by communicating effectively with customers;
  • Participates in liaison duties with Engineering, Marketing and Sales on new product and new business development;
  • Must be able to respond to emergency and non-scheduled calls for service within established response time goals.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently in a high-pressure environment;
  • Must have an active DoD Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance;
  • Ability to work alone or within a group;
  • Secret Clearance;
  • Bachelor’s degree in electronics or a technical education with a minimum of five years of experience in SSBN and/or SWS Flight Test operations;
  • Must be skilled with typical hand and power tools, shaft/component alignment equipment, portable drills and milling machines;
  • Must be able to adapt quickly to changes in schedule, tasking, and priority;
  • Practical re-work skills required, e.g. solder, build connectors/cables, operate test equipment;
  • Military services/USCG/US Navy Veteran or experience preferred;
  • Conduct hellax cable termination, J-Standard soldering, Copper pin connectorization for cannnon plugs, DB connectors, coaxial and triaxial cables;
  • High School Diploma/GED or trade school, military, or industrial school in the mechanical field required;
  • Connector certified and fiber optic certified A MUST in accordance with NAVSEA Standard items 009-73 na d009-123;
  • Experience with military and commercial radios, baseband equipment, telephony, cryptos, voice/data terminals and cable design;
  • Possess excellent telephone skills.
