Our company is looking for a Infrastructure Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train and assess the performance of the infrastructure staff responsible for the network and server infrastructure support and operation;
  • Train users on software and equipment usage;
  • Responsible for designing, specifying, configuring, installing, and maintaining LAN/WAN hardware, software and telecommunications equipment;
  • Work closely with other staff as needed to achieve needed IT administration and support;
  • Manage our infrastructure spanning 2 data centers, cloud-based and two physical office locations in the Lehigh Valley;
  • Research and evaluate current and new technologies;
  • Help set up and maintain our in-house disaster recovery system based on MS Hyper V Virtualization and Microsoft Storage Spaces;
  • Test and install software upgrades and new hardware;
  • Create documentation such as building procedures and runbooks;
  • Submit and track tickets, tasks, changes; provide advice, guidance and direction to solution architects and customers;
  • Oversee all IT assets and maintain an accurate and comprehensive enterprise asset inventory;
  • Own and drive the end-to-end DevOps automation effort with an infrastructure-as-code mindset;
  • Tracks security compliance for production systems through patching and configuration control;
  • Oversee access, event, problem, and incident management; change control; and DR process;
  • Support program reviews and briefings; identify and report on issues or related problems and potential risks.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years’ experience in complex IT administration, and 5+ years in IT management of both technology and employees;
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Aptitude and desire to learn new technologies;
  • Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery requirements and solutions;
  • Networking, System Administration, NOC, or Help Desk management experience required;
  • Experience as a support specialist with the ability to act as frontline support for all networking related issues;
  • Demonstrated experience with software configuration management tools;
  • Demonstrated experience with server virtualization technologies such as VMware, and Citrix;
  • Demonstrated experience in ITIL, ISO 20000 / ISO 27001 implementations;
  • Demonstrated experience in developing cloud technology roadmaps and strategies;
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university;
  • Demonstrated track record of effectively managing infrastructure teams;
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, engineering or related field;
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in the management and operation of large-scale, enterprise IT and telecommunication services.
