Our company is looking for a Manager In Training (MIT) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise employees to ensure compliance with directives and guidelines;
- Open and close store as directed and provide coverage as needed;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Maintain both individual and shift sales;
- Safeguard cash at all times in the absence of store management;
- Assist with the unloading of trucks;
- Support the mission statement of The Salvation Army;
- Participate in the training of new personnel;
- Be prepared for reassignment to other stores;
- Report Safety hazards. Responsible for protection of personnel, property, and building in Manager’s absence;
- Has reliable transportation (Training will take place at various location across the Valley.);
- Strong attention to detail;
- Manages team scheduling;
- Controls labor costs and production;
- Perform quality checks on car wash customer vehicles.
Requirements:

- Perform quality checks on car wash customer vehicles;
- Controls labor costs and production;
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions;
- Ability to operate a cash register/POS system;
- Must be at least 18 years old;
- High school graduate or GED;
- Ability to read/interpret documents;
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees;
- Retail experience and some supervisory experience a plus;
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds;
- Must have a valid drivers license clear MVR.
