Our company is looking for a Manager In Training (MIT) to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise employees to ensure compliance with directives and guidelines;
  • Open and close store as directed and provide coverage as needed;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Maintain both individual and shift sales;
  • Safeguard cash at all times in the absence of store management;
  • Assist with the unloading of trucks;
  • Support the mission statement of The Salvation Army;
  • Participate in the training of new personnel;
  • Be prepared for reassignment to other stores;
  • Report Safety hazards. Responsible for protection of personnel, property, and building in Manager’s absence;
  • Has reliable transportation (Training will take place at various location across the Valley.);
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Manages team scheduling;
  • Controls labor costs and production;
  • Perform quality checks on car wash customer vehicles.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid driver’s license;
  • Perform quality checks on car wash customer vehicles;
  • Controls labor costs and production;
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions;
  • Ability to operate a cash register/POS system;
  • Must be at least 18 years old;
  • High school graduate or GED;
  • Ability to read/interpret documents;
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees;
  • Retail experience and some supervisory experience a plus;
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds;
  • Must have a valid drivers license clear MVR.
