Our company is looking for a Task Lead to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Participates in special projects as required;
  • Enforce the production of technical documentation, requirements, specifications and systems operations guides to support our business needs;
  • Coordinate and oversee the delivery of subcontract partners;
  • Approve and enforce the implementation of best practices, processes and procedures on behalf of the customer and organization;
  • Coordinate team deliverables to ensure quality and timely submission;
  • Serve as Transition Lead and support the stand-up of the GDIT services for the VA ITSM effort;
  • Provide input into software design, effort and cost estimates, and planning activities as needed;
  • Oversee the communication and metrics associated with the VA contract deliverables;
  • Reviewing client feedback and preparing responses to calls for clarification, agreement or disagreement;
  • Creating annual goals using metrics to measure quality and efficiency. Recommending merit based increases;
  • Responsible for status and task management reports for area of responsibility;
  • Supporting project managers in planning and monitoring the geospatial program activities;
  • Meeting with Direct reports as needed to ensure open and timely communication;
  • Identifying and facilitating resolution of operational issues and acting as a liaison between geospatial production and management areas;
  • Maintaining record of changes in instructions and ensuring all team members are informed of changes.

Requirements:

  • DevOps experience;
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • Agile and SAFe ® transformation and coaching experience;
  • Quickly adaptable to changing processes and requirements;
  • 15+ years of related experience in software development;
  • PMI ACP ® , CSM ®, SAFe® certifications;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong presentation skills;
  • Experience with and thorough understanding of key factors that drive business value and impact;
  • ServiceNow;
  • 15+ years in technical team leadership;
  • Ability to interact with colleagues at all organizational levels;
  • ITIL implementation experience;
  • Master’s Degree and over 10 years of relevant experience.
