Operations Associate Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Operations Associate to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting on anomalous or irregular inventory;
- Packing orders into cartons;
- Owning home improvement and maintenance projects from end to end;
- Designing and pricing appropriate project scopes for client needs;
- Able to work within a fast paced team environment that requires cooperation and communication among all associates;
- Contribute to product development, both internal and consumer-facing;
- Prepare finished product for shipment. Load and unload trailers, containers and small package carriers;
- Mail lookups;
- Own meeting logistics by actively scheduling and managing the meeting resources (Google calendars, Zoom setup, conference rooms, and AV equipment);
- opening and delivering mail;
- On-boarding Mentor and Protégé applicants, including reviewing applications and conducting short phone interviews;
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop:On-brand internal messagingSWAGOffice design;
- Monitoring new postings on ACP-AdvisorNet.org , ACP’s online community;
- Trade reconciliation and trade settlement;
- Assisting with cross-departmental projects to improve flow of information internally.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to navigate Warehouse Management Systems or other comparable database systems and RF Scanning equipment;
- Schedule flexibility and ability to work frequent over time;
- Ability to maintain high level of focus and attention to detail for prolonged periods of time is required;
- 1+ years previous experience in a warehouse environment;
- Ability to integrate seamlessly in a team environment;
- Bright, high-energy individual, with a passion to learn and contribute;
- Extraordinary interpersonal, written, and oral communication across all levels of management in an organization;
- Experience in a customer facing role;
- Kind, thoughtful and finds great fulfillment in helping others;
- Strong planning and time-management skills, with demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 100 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques;
- Proven experience in construction and/or in an operations role;
- Must have a drivers license and access to a vehicle;
- Authorization to work in the United States;
- Team player, coachable.
