Business Operations Associate Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Business Operations Associate to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a pipeline of institutional investors for Pantera’s fund offerings;
- Research potential speaking engagements and help coordinate logistics and materials for the CEO;
- Perform data analyses for the executive team and deliver recommendations on key strategic questions;
- Correspond with existing and/or potential investors;
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of the firm’s investor presentations for client meetings, conferences, and webinars;
- Update the client database in Salesforce;
- Actively identify and drive initiatives that will help Pantera scale its internal operations;
- Be the operations lead in managing and delivering client projects; supervise surrounding bus ops activities and assist when needed;
- Analyze trends and pull insights from datasets and weekly meeting reports;
- Implement and oversee effective reporting and productivity goals for company teams, ensuring metrics are useful, visible, and streamlined;
- Actively look for ways to improve upon and optimize existing procedures, systems, and processes;
- Act as a generalist in getting anything and everything done to help the company grow;
- Assist the Executive Team in executing operational and strategic initiatives; help set short-term and long-term goals to drive company growth;
- Help management achieve their functional goals and targets by providing key insights and performance indicators;
- Optimize processes through CRM.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years in consulting, private equity, investment banking or comparable role at a high growth tech company;
- Bonus: Experience with programming languages (e.g. Python, SQL) and experience with marketing CRMs (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce);
- Must be a self-starter who has proven ability to cultivate relationships and help improve overall client relationship process/structure;
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills;
- Strong academic background at a highly ranked school;
- Knowledgeable and passionate about blockchain/cryptocurrency technologies;
- Willingness to travel 1-2 times per month, according to the needs of the business;
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline from a well-known 4-year university; minimum 3.5 GPA;
- Rigorous attention to detail;
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in new situations, pick up new skills, and do what it takes to get the job done;
- BA/BS required;
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, analysis and financial modeling;
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
- You are energetic, resourceful, and driven, and have the ownership to thrive in an unstructured environment;
- You have 3-5 years of work experience at a top consulting or banking organization.
