Business Operations Program Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Business Operations Program Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Vetting, launching, altering, or decommissioning services and offers;
- Enabling billing for services and offers in multiple channels, languages, and currencies;
- Acting as the final gate keeper for all product pricing changes;
- Compiling the Azure Service Level Agreements for all Azure service launches at the time of general availability;
- Leading system and process improvements to improve KPIs related to billing agility, volume, and invoicing accuracy;
- Tracking and evangelizing launch readiness scorecards;
- Reviewing and contributing to all Azure customer outbound communications related to service launches;
- Creating and maintaining training, department communication and process development as needed;
- Participating in highly complex, cross functional projects that require contact with multiple departments;
- Developing and cultivating effective relationships with cross functional teams throughout Verizon and its affiliates;
- Driving performance and accomplishments from direct and indirect team members;
- Developing materials and participating in operational meetings to assess results and performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Masters Degree preferred;
- Technical background with experience automating business processes;
- Proven track record of improving service operations;
- 2+ years of experience writing feature specifications;
- Must have strong understanding of Government contracting requirements such as FAR, ITAR, etc;
- 2+ years of intermediate-level Excel experience (e.g. complex formulas, pivot tables, macros);
- Familiar with international government standards and the military equipment acquisition and qualification process;
- 2+ years of SQL reporting experience;
- Experience managing large or complex International programs;
- 2+ years of experience with agile methodologies to deliver products;
- Certification in a project management methodology such as SCRUM, PMP, or Six Sigma;
- Four-year Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree – no specific field of study required;
- Top Secret Clearance.
